Paul reporting... I apologize for the lack of updates, but the incredibly frenetic schedule and the theft of the laptop computer made it very difficult.
Despite numerous obstacles, we managed to bring 14 dogs home with us from Romania. They're all healthy, doing well and safely situated in California. Our journey ended with a last minute dash to Helen Woodward Animal Center where we arrived seconds before a noon Live Shot with the local San Diego CBS News station.
I would like to say that Eva and Molly did an incredible job keeping this project on track. With problems arising on a continuous basis, they managed them with incredible professionalism and skill. Their leadership is what kept us all from going insane and falling apart.
The volunteers... Holly, Marilyn and Silisha were rock solid, giving 100 percent of their energy to this Endeavour. They participated in collecting and returning stray dogs, performing surgery at the Vet clinic, and helping bridge the gap with the local Romanians.
Thanks to photographer Ed Mari we have thousands of great photographs to go through, in addition to 48 hours of High Definition video tape, courtesy of camera operator Steve.
As a team, we all performed incredibly well in difficult circumstances. I am proud of our achievements and look forward to the editing process. It will take quite a while to put this documentary together, but it will be worth it as we have some amazing footage to work with.
